POLICIES AND INVESTMENTS

By booking through Avantia Luxe LLC, you agree that the following terms and conditions apply:

Planning and managing your travel requires a substantial investment of time throughout your planning and travel experience, so we operate on a fee-based system for planning, bookings and cancellations. Before beginning substantive work on your travel plans, we will discuss our fees. Our fee schedule may be found at the bottom of this page.

Because your plans may change due to reasons beyond your control or ours, we always suggest that you consider purchasing travel insurance. A variety of coverage plans are available, depending on your needs. Should you decide not to purchase travel insurance, you and you alone bear full personal and financial responsibility for cancellations, travel interruptions, or the failure of a supplier to deliver promised goods or services.

In the event that you cancel or change reservations for any reason, we charge a cancellation/change fee. This fee is charged in addition to any cancellation or change fee imposed by the vendor (i.e., the hotel, the airline, etc.) and is equivalent to the greater of 10% of the total price of the item canceled or $100 per item canceled.

Although it is exceptionally rare, on occasion a vendor may fail to deliver as promised, or events outside their control may affect their ability to provide you with the services you expect. We will always do our best to help you recover the value of any such failure on the part of a vendor, but our responsibility to you and your guests is limited to providing that assistance. Financial liability for any failure to deliver accommodations or services is that of the vendor, and not Avantia Luxe LLC. For this reason, we suggest that, in addition to obtaining travel insurance, you always make payments through a credit card, which provides protections that are not available if you pay by cash, check, or wire transfer.

Avantia Luxe LLC will endeavor to ensure that clients are aware of travel requirements for their destination, but it is the responsibility of each individual to ensure that he or she meets the requirements of his or her destination(s), including as applicable, a valid passport, necessary visas, immunizations, medical clearances, and preauthorization for carriage and the visit itself. In this respect, every traveler should consult the official government guidance of his/her destination, and the information available through the U.S. Department of State.

By booking travel arrangements through Avantia Luxe LLC, each traveler agrees to assume the risk of financial loss, personal injury or death which are inherent in travel, and to hold harmless and indemnify Avantia Luxe LLC against all claims and lawsuits arising out of travel arrangements booked through Avantia Luxe LLC.

We strive to ensure that your travel plans are handled with the highest degree of professionalism within Avantia Luxe LLC and when you are actually traveling. You can help us achieve this goal by carefully reviewing the reservations we make on your behalf to ensure accuracy as soon as you receive them. We urge clients to use reasonable caution in their travels, to plan for unforeseen events, and to remember that ultimately the responsibility of your safety and that of your family is yours. Fees

Hotels

If you know your hotel dates and preferred hotel, hotel booking is complimentary. We’d be happy for you to enjoy the perks and benefits that come through booking with us. Trust us, the experience will be better than if you book through American Express.

If you are unsure of which hotel you’d like, we are happy to research and provide a list of up to five recommended hotels along with pricing and benefits able to be obtained by booking through Avantia Luxe LLC.  The fee per destination is $150.

Airfare

$75 per ticket. Please note that your tickets will be issued by Direct Travel, our parent company.

Travel Experience Planning and Coordination

Base planning fees start at $700 per seven days of travel for a family of four. Additional destinations and days of travel will require a custom quote. The planning fee covers hotel search, touring schedule, private drivers and airport transfers, and all of the communication that the preceding entails, both with the client and the various vendors.

Concierge Fee

We are happy to coordinate items such as dining reservations, spa appointments, event tickets, etc. If we are able to coordinate these through your hotel concierge or a local tour operator, there will be no charge (other than any fees charged by the vendor). In the instance where we must research and book these services directly rather than through our partners, we will charge a Concierge Fee of $150 per week of travel. 

Rush Booking Fee

A $350 supplement will apply for all travel experiences to be made within 30 days of departure.

Cancellation Fee

In the unfortunate event that you must cancel your plans, Avantia Luxe LLC charges a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the booking price. Note that this may not include cancellation/penalty fees imposed by the vendors/suppliers (hotel, cruise line, tour operator, etc.), which in some cases may call for full forfeiture of payments.

All fees paid to Avantia Luxe LLC are nonrefundable.
