Our Background

Avantia Luxe was founded by Mary Senesac, a 15 year veteran of the meetings and events industry. Her passion for delivering exceptional service and personal attention to a limited number of clients lead her to found Avantia Luxe in 2016.

Mary started her career in the pharmaceutical industry where she planned meetings worldwide for audiences of 500+ with attendees including healthcare executives and internationally esteemed researchers and physicians. She moved on to a prestigious management consulting firm where she worked directly with the C-suite to handle all VIP events and practice-wide meetings, managing budgets from $200K - $2M.  Most recently, she was with an award-winning meeting planning agency, where she managed a team of planners and supported the largest account of the agency, a top pharmaceutical/life sciences company.

Mary has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  She lives in Chicago with her husband, daughter, and poorly behaved dog.
